I liked it when they had Alfie back. He had to kennels and a boy tried to take him home but Alfie wouldn't go. Then Evie went to get him back and he wasn’t there but gran took him and they were back together. Favourite characters were Alfie and Evie.

It looked good when I picked it up but it was a bit easy. I liked the dog who was cute. I also liked the other dogs called Tigger and Ben.

I enjoyed this book because it was about a lonely puppy. At the start Alfie was in a rescue center when he was rescued the family had a baby and all the attention was on the baby. Alfie tried to get a fly off the baby Sam and he was misunderstood as trying to bite Sam and Alfie was put in the rescue center. But the nan rescued Alfie and the little girl took him home again meaning it was a happy ending! My favourite character was Alfie because he is cute. I would recommend this book to my friends because although it starts off send it ends happily

My favourite character was Alfie the dog because he was always trying to figure out what the humans were saying. Although,he was never quite right he new how the humans were roughly feeling. I would recommend this book because it is full off mystery and wonder and it always has you wondering what will come next.

Evie’s mum and dad buy her a puppy just before they are going to have a baby. Will they be able to take care of Alfie the puppy. My favourite character is Alfie because he is cute. I would recommend this book to people who like animal stories.

Before the baby is born evies parent give her an adorable westie puppy but when her little brother is born they have to give Alfie back to Battersea dogs and cats home but he is gone when the go and colect him whos his new owner and is alfie happy there

My favourite character was Alfie. It was quiet a sad story but ended with a happy ending. It was a lovely story an I recommend for others to read.

I gave this book a 4 because it was very cute and sad because Evie (the little girl) got a puppy called Alfie right before her mum was having a baby and when it came Alfie didn't get care and attention so they had to give him to the dog home but in the end he got nice and new owners.

Alfie ! How could Alfie EVER get in trouble. He's too cute! Evie has fallen in love with him, but then her mum has a baby and all the attention goes to him. People keep shouting at poor Alfie. He even tried to remove a fly from Sam's arm to help as Evie's mum and Alfie both hates flies so he aimed for Sam's arm and then Evie's mum came and saw him leaping on Sam! He got into loads of trouble...
