The third book in the gripping Jamie Johnson series. Jamie's dreams of becoming a professional footballer seem to be coming true, after years of hoping and practising. I found this book interesting, since it is about football, and I enjoy football. Jamie, since he is very determined. Yes, it's got a nice twist and is a bit serious.

You will not know what's going on if you have not read book 1 (kick off) and 2 (shoot to win) but if you have read them and if you like football (understand like the offside rule, watching football, being able to play football, E.T.C.) then its an enjoyable book. I think all ages can enjoy it. No pictures in the book.

I liked this book because it’s about a great footballer who suddenly has a terrible accident and is told he won’t be able to play football again but he proves them wrong.

Book 3 Golden Goal Jamie Johnson series. Now that Jamie has been scouted by Foxborough in the previous book Shoot to win. After his first game for Foxborough he got invited to the team captain's birthday party, but on the way home he gets hit by a car. Later on he makes a comeback and gets his leg better and saves Hawkstone from shutting down in a match against Foxborough.

With a mixture of sadness and excitement, Jamie is finally achieved his dream. But his injury stopped him from playing his debut. However Jamie soon recovered and started to shine again and saved his team for being extinct. This book will inspire all kinds to always persevere therefore people should read this.
