This was a summer read together with my mum. Some words were a bit tricky for me but I really enjoyed the story. My favourite part was when Bilbo Baggins meets Gollum in the cave.

This book is comedic and action packed and really helps increase my hype around the Lord of the Rings franchise . I didn't have any problems with the book and I chose it to inspire me for when I complete my books final fight in a couple days . The Baggins family is great and Gandolf is the coolest character ever . The book is truly worth picking up and potentially my favourite book of all time . I would recommend it to people who like a long read .

I found the hobbit to be an adventurous action packed story. My favourite character was Bard, because he slayed the dragon which saved everyone. I would recommend this book because it was an amazing book to read.

This was a fun and suspenseful adventure seeing a group travelling to a mountain to find treasure. It is the prequel to The Lord of the Rings. I would recommend this to people who like adventure stories or want to read The Lord of the Rings.

This book tells of a Hobbit, a small man with long fingers and pointed ears, who is involved in an adventure with 13 dwarves and a wizard with the aim of killing the dragon Smaug and getting back the treasure he stole. Before completing this feat they have many adventures and misadventures. When they arrive at the dragon mountain they manage to kill the beast, but then there is a great battle where the Werewolves and the Orcs, who are hated by everyone because they kill and destroy, lose against the elves, the men of the lake, the dwarves of Dain and Byblos the Hobbit. So they share the treasure and finally the Hobbit returns to his peaceful home with his reward. My favorite part is when the half-bear man kills loads of orcs. The part I liked the least was when they were walking in Mirkwood because it was too descriptive and he kept saying he just walked.
