I really enjoyed the book but I think it could have been a bit longer and the murder scene more detailed.

It was really really cool there was a lot of mystery and adventure and I liked the bit most when a man cut off thread and then made the end toughened so it looked natural, to cover his tracks. I liked the chair with the blood stain on it, it made me feel "wooohoo, I wonder what that means" And I liked how it was described through the detective's assistant memory.
