It was really interesting and was extremely factual, telling me everything about that part in history. I thought it was quite sad when Skwal fell down the ravine, but the ending was very heart-warming. Tuuli manages to persuade her new friends to join her family tribe, and they all live together from then on.

This book is the sequel to Wolf Road. I enjoyed this book, I learned a lot about the ice age. This book is about a girl who started her journey for her wondering. Wondering is when a young person goes out into the world on their own to prove to their tribe that they are fit enough to live in the wild on their own. The girl is called Tuuli, when she was on her journey she wasn’t by herself, she had her wolf Lupa with her and met lots of new people along the way from different tribes. She bought them back to her tribe as they were running out of food. I would recommend this book to 9+ at times the book can be a little sad
