The book Mermaid Academy is an excellent read because it has a female protagonist called Amber, who is a brave and intelligent mermaid. The way she saves the young dolphins from the evil Mer Mal using her camouflage powers is simply outstanding. This enabled her to finally bond with her dolphin Flash. This is a magical and inspiring story and I highly recommend this book.
