Asterix: Asterix and Caesar's Gift: Album 21
Rene Goscinny, Albert Uderzo
When Legionary Tremensdelirius gets the title deeds to the little Gaulish village as a bonus, he swaps them with tavern landlord Orthopaedix for a drink. Funnily enough, Asterix and his friends aren’t keen to hand over their village to anyone else. After a chieftaincy election campaign and a showdown with the Romans, both events fiercely contested, can all still end well?

Another funny story - there are 2 chiefs and there is a vote in the gauls village to be the chieftan of the village. Suddenly there is a giant rock being thrown at them and the Roman Empire is trying to invade and all the gauls get a magic potion and they are the ones who end up crashing into the Roman army and throw down the tower which comes crashing down.

I thought it was funny that Caesar gave this guy with a fattened red nose, who had drunk too much alcohol, the Gaul Village to rule. It wasn't even Caesar's to give away.
