Smudge the Stolen Kitten

I loved this story in the middle part when they started to search for Smudge. A boy came his friend's house and stole Smudge and pretended to be sick and phoned his mum. His mum arrived and took him back home with the kitten. The kitten escaped through an open window and got stuck in a shed. The owner of the kitten found it at last and it was happy ending.

It is about a stolen kitten and they have to find it. In this book I felt that I had to keep reading to find out what happens to Smudge, and do they find him in the end (and of course they would)

This book was a fictional story about a little grey kitten called smudge who belonged to a girl named Olivia and her brother Ben. When Ben's friend Rob comes round to play with him and Smudge he claims to be ill and goes home taking a lumpy bag and leaving all his belongings at their house. I wish I could have a kitten but my mum is allergic to them.

Olivia is delighted when her family adopt a beautiful little kitten. She can’t wait to show Smudge off to her friends, and neither can her older brother Ben. When Ben invites his naughty friend Rob round for tea, Olivia is worried that the two boys will upset Smudge. Her fears come true when later that evening the kitten is nowhere to be found.

Smudge the kitten was very cute and he was my best character in this book. It was so cute when smudge climbs the stairs. It was good that he got out of Robs bedroom window after being stolen but it wasn’t good because he got trapped in the shed. Smudge was really good at the end and Olivia was really happy to get him back.

This book was really good. It was a really brilliant story line, and it taught you, that even though you may want a pet, it would be wrong to take it from someone else.
