Dumpling

Dumpling wishes she was long and sausage-shaped like her two brothers and other dachshunds, instead of being short and stumpy. One day she goes to the woods and meets a witch’s cat who grants Dumpling her wish, but the spell goes wrong and Dumpling gets longer and longer! She’s very happy to return to her own shape again.

It was a sweet book about sausage dogs and I l loved it. Dumpling is the main character and he wanted to be very long but he did not get any longer. He went for a long walk and he met a witch's cat.

I loved all the cute little puppies I liked how Dumpling was upset at first because she was not long but then she said to herself “look at those silly dachshunds all long and sausage like.

dumpling was a silly dog going out in the woods as woods are dangerous wanted to get bigger and bigger by the cat but he got too big so he had to ask for going back to size she was. witches cat yes

I liked when the cat kept saying 'Granted'. Dumpling never grew like her brothers, that's why she is called Dumpling.

I like this book because it has a meaningful message. The story is about a dog called Dumpling. While he was walking he saw a witches cat and asked her to make him longer.when he started walking he realised that he was too long and went back to the cat to make him shorter. At the end the cat made him shorter and he was happy the way he was.
