This book is so good! It’s about a little girl called Sophie and she is snatched away from her bed at night by a giant called the big friendly giant. They then make friends and we discover that the BFG and Sophie tried to stop the other man eating giants by going to the Queen. My favourite character is Sophie because of her determination and care. I would recommend it to people who love fiction and adventure stories.

I give this book five stars because it was really funny, and there was a lot of funny words. It was very interesting - especially the bit when the Queen had a dream from the Big Friendly Giant.

The plot of this book is about a little girl being snatched by a big friendly giant in the middle of the night and bringing the little girl to Giant Country. This was the first book I ever read. And would definitely recommend this book to any new readers.
