I found it interesting,exciting and adventurous with many different parts. I believe it was a fiction book and I enjoyed reading about my favourite character June. I would recommend this book to ages between 7-12.

It is Darrells last term at Malory Towers. There is a new girl called Amanda who dreams of being in the Olympic Games. But she injures herself. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes reading books about schools.

I thought that Ruth was a bit in the shadows of Connie because Connie was always answering for Ruth. I liked Ruth because at the end Connie asked Ruth to do a bad paper so both of them stayed in the fifth form, so Ruth did a bad paper but instead of staying in the fifth , she went up in the sixth. I would recommend it to my friend because if he was in the story he would pass the exam with flying colours!

I liked Darrell the best because she set a good example to the whole school with the help of Sally. The Head, ( Miss Grayling ) said that Darrell was even one of her successes and that she had good brains. It wasn't factual but it did interest me about the mischief, especially when Amanda, the new girl wanted to swim in the VERY dangerous sea because she thought she was a mighty swimmer because she was going to the Olympic Games next year! Yes, I would recommend this to someone else so they know what will happen if you disobey people who are trying to make you do the right thing. You might get hurt or any other consequences.

I didn’t like how Amanda was domineering, she felt she was strong enough to go against the strong currents even though everyone else couldn’t. I think this was a silly thing to do as she could have really hurt head if June hadn’t found her. She was stupid and hurt her leg. I did like that Amanda learned how to be a team player and actually helped June to do games and sports rather than just doing it to prove herself right.
