Enid Blyton is one of my favourite authors because her stories are exciting and unusual. I particularly liked this book because children were the lead characters and they saved their mum and dad's lives. The story kept me in suspense as I waited to see how and whether they would be able to escape the trap. My favourite character was Joe because he was logical and calm under pressure and came up with good plans.

This book is amazing and it was absolutely hilarious when Mr Uma was bitten by Philip’s bargua and thinks he’s dying but ends up in the police station because the snake had it poison ducts removed, this is probably my favourite bit.

I liked this book because they went on an exciting adventure and found some treasure in the process. The treasure was in an underground temple. My favourite characters were Jack and Philip.

I really, really enjoyed this book because there was so much mystery. They were being chased by someone who could themselves to look and sound like anyone. My favourite character was Phillip as I like how he is always able to charm animals even poisonous snakes.

This book certainly is an adventure itself . When Philip, Lucy-Ann Dinah and Jack go cruising down a river through ancient Desert lands and find them selfs far from safety . I would recommend this to anybody, it’s truly bewildering !

i liked this book because they got two new friends and they both helped save them. i liked that they did not run away when there mum and dad got kidnapped, but instead they went to there rescue. the person i liked the best was

I love these books! They went on a river boat down the river, called river of adventure, but was spelt differently. I would definitely recommend this but for adventurous people who like adventure but not as much magic as fairy tales.

This was a really good book about mystery and fun . My thought on the best part was the part when they found the old temple treasure and when the snake charmer started to ask the children about Bill and the children said about many made up Bill's and their real Bill laughed and joked.

My favourite character is Philip because I love animals and collect them too, though mine are a bit less unusual. I would recommend this book because I love and am reading the entire series.
