One morning, after seeing shooting stars, Amber awakes to all sorts of discoveries. Hennie, her favourite hen, has vanished; a strange white horse has appeared at the animal sanctuary; and Luke Foster, the unhappy new boy at school, confides in Amber his impossible wish. But perhaps what Luke is looking for is not so impossible after all.

I think you should read this book because it is a book of discoveries. In the book it starts off with a girl called Amber and one early morning she sees a shooting star she also notices that Hennie (her favourite hen) has vanished. She looks over to her animal santuary in the garden and a strange white horse has appeared. Later in the book a unhappy new boy at school called Luke Foster tries to help Amber find her missing animals. It is a really enjoyable book to read.

I think this book is a good book the theme is sort of mysterious and very excited my opinion is that the book is very exciting and if you don't want to read a long book read this one because the chapters are short and easy to read the level is a 4.1.Also if you like pets read this book. It is a book to read.

A lot of it is about chickens, which is fine, but the ending is wonderful and is all about the unicorn.

The night of the unicorn is a very relaxed book. This means that it is an easy read and you can read long sections at a time.
