Tintin in America: The story tells of young Belgian reporter Tintin and his dog Snowy who travel to the United States, where Tintin reports on organized crime in Chicago. Pursuing a gangster across the country, he encounters a tribe of Blackfoot Native Americans before defeating the Chicago crime syndicate. Tintin and Cigars of the Pharaoh: A case that takes him all the way to India but… In the meantime, he meets Thomson and Thompson, two clumsy policemen whose role will progressively become more important throughout the series Blue Lotus: Continuing where the plot of the previous story, Cigars of the Pharaoh, left off, the story tells of young Belgian reporter Tintin and his dog Snowy, who are invited to China in the midst of the 1931 Japanese invasion, where he reveals the machinations of Japanese spies . Read it # Reading vibes

The Blue Lotus - it was good - it was about an adventure in China, Shanghai and India. The setting started in India. In India a famous fakir, showed off his amazing powers to spin on needles, telling the future and is able to sit on sharp needles on a chair. In Shanghai he meets Mitsuhirato and he wants to get rid of Tintin and almost turns him mad but it was coloured water, rather than poison (by Mr Wang who is looking after Tintin). He also looks after Mitsuhirato's knife and gun. In the end, Tintin goes on a boat back to his own home. I recommend it to anyone who is Chinese and loves China things, and who has been to Shanghai.
