I think that this book is very interesting in many different ways. I love Blaze , Mystic and loved the main character Issie because she had a very magical and wonderful character. The thing which interested me was the way how her horse which had died in a accident trying to save Issie and her friends had actually been alive all this time and helped to stop horse theives to get Issies horse. I recommend it to multiple people.

This is a book about horse-mad Issie Brown, who tragically loses her first ever pony, a grey gelding called Mystic, while attempting to herd 3 other ponies back through the gates of the pony club. 2 months later, her instructor, Tom Avery, who works for the International League of the Protection of Horses, presents her with an abused, worn-down and half-starved chestnut mare with a flaxen mane and tail. Issie calls this pony Blaze. No less than a week later, Issie finds herself in love with this new pony. Around 1 month later, Issie hears a horse whinnying outside her bedroom window. She looks outside and sees Mystic, her supposedly dead pony. When she touches him, he seems quite real, flesh and bone. But why was he here? The gelding seems to want Issie to ride him, and he takes her to the pony club. There, 2 suspicious men are loading a chestnut mare with a flaxen mane and tail. Blaze! Can Issie alert the authorities in time to save her beloved pony, or will she lose the one thing that has lit up her days for the past 3 months, forever? I really enjoyed this book because a)I love horses, b)it was an incredible journey, and c)there was lots of action and mystery. My favourite character was Issie, because she was so headstrong and loved her horses more than anything. This book interested me because it was all about horses and the blurb was very captivating. I would definitely recommend it to somenone else. Can't wait to read the other books in the series!!

I liked the story of this book, but it was very hard to read because of the horse language that they used. A girl named Issie and her horse Mystic were in an accident and Mystic died. Mystic becomes a ghost and helps Issie save her new horse called Blaze from thieves who try to hurt her and steal her away from Issie.

My favorite character was Mystic because he was so thoughtful. He saved Blaze from the horse thieves. This book really interested me because it was humorous and it made me want to continue reading. I can't wait to read part 2. This was probably the best book I have read. I would recommend this book to reader aged 12 and above.

Before I read this book, I thought it might be a bit babyish and cheesy. However, whilst I was reading it, I was enraptured and glued to the pages! It was a total unexpected page-turner. After I read 'Mystic and the Midnight Ride', I decided that I needed to read the rest of the 'Pony Club Secrets' series. I would recommend this book because it is really breath-taking and has amazing ideas/moments in it. Also, I would recommend it because people can easily relate to the main character, Issie (Isadora).
