The Bowerbird is the irresistible tale of Bert – a small bird with a very big heart, from Number One bestselling Julia Donaldson and Catherine Rayner, winner of the Kate Greenaway Medal for Illustration.

Bert the bowerbird has made the most perfect bower nest, complete with a pretty purple flower, and is hoping it will help him to meet the bird of his dreams. But will all his efforts to create a beautiful display be enough to win over Nanette?

A stunningly illustrated book with a wonderful rhyming tale for little ones, from the creators of The Go-Away Bird.

We need to look beyond material things and see the beauty in the person as simple As it is. Not asking more and more things

I liked this book because I liked the birds and all the pictures. I liked the ending because the birds were happy together and it was lovely.

We love Bert the bowerbird. A great introduction into the bowerbird and how they attract a mate. A really lovely Julia Donaldson book that is not one of the usual crowd!
