I think this book was a definite 5 star because it is so nice to read it. It interests me because it has lots of facts. It places the kings and queens in order. It describes people well and It is also funny. I would recommend it to everybody who loves history.

I liked this book because Terry Deary makes facts fun! I would recommend this book to ages 7 and over, because some of the facts are quite "horrible"!

I like ‘The Slimy Stuarts’ because it was very interesting to learn about that time. I’ve learned that the Great Fire of London happened in the Stuart times. My favourite King was King Charles I because he was very interesting to read about.

I thought it was great because it was really funny and I learnt a lot from it. It was interesting because I like history and I liked learning about Guy Fawkes. I would recommend it to people who like history and humour.

It is a very interesting book because it has great facts. Toad eaters were very interesting because it shows that it is poisonous and people use it on husbands to poison them in Roman times as well as Stuart times. I would recommend it to people who love weird and awesome facts

Very funny and I found out a lot what happened under the slimy Stuarts including that Guy Fawkes was NOT burned on a bonfire, and also he was NOT betrayed by his friends - he was actually hanged, drawn and quartered.
