It was really interesting and the Saxons had some strange and funny ways of doing things. I really liked how on every page there was a picture to go with the writing in a Comic book style. Some of the recipes in it sound delicious!

It was funny and interesting. There were also lots of gags. There was also a bit of information about Vikings and when they invaded England. I would recommmend this book to people who like gags jokes and quizzes. Also it talked about Saxon culture and ways of punishing people.
