The book is about Jet (a dog) who went on a walk, and every time they threw his purple bone for him to fetch, instead brought back a stick and seaweed. Eventually he brought back his bone, but the crab who came with after his swim was the funniest, and they all got wet!

Jet never seems to find his toy when he went to fetch it. Mum asked him to fetch his toy but he brought back a log. Dad sent him to find his toy but couldn’t find it either. When Daddy threw the bone in the sea , he found it and everyone was happy . My favourite character was Jet the dog, he was a good swimmer. I will recommend the book. I gave it four star because it quite brief and does not describe who Dad and Mum is. The little girl was not mentioned at all.

The story is about a dog called Jet who went out for a walk with his family at the beach and he had lots of fun trying to catch a toy bone but he always brought back different things instead then at last he found the bone. I liked Jet best in the story. I would recommend this book to someone else.

I loved this book because it was funny when Jet bought back different things instead of the bone and then finally bought it back. I thought it was funny when Jet swam in the sea.
