Like the other horrible histories book I've read, this book is very funny and also very informative, with loads of silly quizzes in between!!

Scary, interesting, historic and everything except modern. I like history and I find it very interesting especially the Wars of the Roses. I would recommend it.

I liked how this book included recipes and gave you different types of games that would have been played then. I didn't give it a 5 since it wasn't quite as funny as the other Horrible Histories books.

I have really enjoyed reading this book as it makes you feel ingaged when they are telling you lots of different facts about this time period and really enjoy that sometimes the facts aren’t always gruesome which doesn’t make it boring. They also mix up the way they layout the book and sometimes put quizzes in between different chapters and get to know what weird and funny this things people did.

I liked the Norman age the most because it was the beginning of a new era. I would recommend it to someone even though it can be gruesome.
