Three Pickled Herrings is an excellent book. It's about a girl named Emily Vole aged 9 and Buster Ignatius Spicer aged 11. Now there from Wings & Co the fairy detective agency and their on a mission to solve not one not two but three Pickled Herrings. Firstly there's a man who suddenly shoots up into the sky and falls to his death (random). Secondly there's a man with all sorts of bad luck. Finally there's a woman who keeps having her body changed. They suspect fairy meddling going on with this. I won't tell you any more because I'll spoil it. My favourite character would be Emily Vole because she's brave and determined. I'd recommend this book to anyone who likes mysteries.
