Cass, Max-Ernest and Yo-Yoji, members of the top-secret Terces Society, have been given a crucial mission: to track down a cursed Aztec tuning fork that has the power to recreate any flavour the user has ever tasted. But no sooner have they succeeded than Cass' mother is kidnapped by evil chef Senor Hugo, who demands that they hand the fork over.

Suspense! This book by Pseudonymous Bosch seems very terrifiying, but to say it's not completely. Join the journey along with Cass and her friends, to save her mum, to get the tuning fork and to stop the Midnight Sun!

Third in the secret series, I think this book is rather good, but since I have not read the second, the character Yoji I did not know, nor how he became friends with Cass and Max-Ernest. I think the plot is weaker than the first, but the idea still clever. However, it is seriously funny. but also sentimental at the same time. The villains are obvious, but I love the use of all the human senses to go with the plot and it is extremely interesting. Some of the words are quite tricky for younger readers to understand but most are explained with an asterisk at the bottom of the page. Overall OK.
