Emily Vole makes headline news in the first weeks of her life, when she is found in an abandoned hatbox in Stansted Airport.

Then, only a few years later, her neighbour Mrs String dies leaving Emily a mysterious inheritance: an old shop, a small bunch of golden keys and a cat called Fidget. It’s the beginning of an adventure of a lifetime as the old Fairy Detective Agency comes back to life.

It is up to Emily to reopen the shop, and recall the fairies to duty. Together they must embark on their first mystery and do battle with their great fairy-snatching enemy, Harpella.

Good book. Full of action and suspense. I read it to my mum and every night we were really excited to see what happened next!

It was quite strange with talking cats and pink bunnies. It was about a girl detective who had to try to stop a witch from killing fairies. It was quite funny and mysterious.

I thought how did the Dashwood triplets become zombies? My thoughts were was Harpella the Queen of witches, why did the book have a lot of the saying "Oh my days?"I liked Fidget(the cat) the best. I wouldn't recommend it to someone else.

It's a great book, beautifully written, my mum read it, and it's her favourite children's book! There's more in the series, too!

When Emily Vole inherits an abandoned shop, she discovered a magical world she never knew existed. But a Fairy-hating witch, a mischievous set of golden keys, and a train full of brightly coloured bunnies are just a few of the surprises that come with it. With the help of a talking cat called Fidget and a grumpy fairy detective called Buster, it is up to Emily to get to the bottom of Operation Bunny.

Amazing book! People should definitely read this book. I thought it was going to be quite boring but once I started reading it I couldn't put it down until I had finished it (about two and a half hours later). I think this book is aimed for girls but that doesn't mean boys can't read it too! All in all a great read!

This book is very adventurous and definitely one of the best books I have ever read! It has unexpected event with some cool, fresh characters that most people will want to see in books. The title makes you think it is mostly about bunnies but surprisingly it is not...
