I thought it was very funny because Trunky the elephant was swinging the enormous crocodile so fast and when Trunky let go, he flew all the way into the sun and bang - he died!

I quite liked this book bc I really like crocodiles and the roly poly bird I though even though I enjoyed it I think it was a bit young for me. Since this book is fiction my favourite character was the roly poly bird because I really like the beautiful colours on the birds wings. I would definitely recommend this book to the age group of (5,8)

I thought this book was good, I rate it 5/5. I rate this probably a 6+ as it is easy to read. My favourite person/animal was the Elephant because he took what was right for the crocodile! my favourite part was at the end! -not giving away! I would recommend.

I dont know how the roly poly bird survived when the crocodile bit its tail off? My favourite part was when the Rhino ran into the park. The best character was Rhino.

I like this book because it's funny and every time I open the book I'm in a whole different world. This book tells the story of an enormous, greedy crocodile who like's to eat children. His friends in the forest had enough of his greedy behaviour and try to stop him. I recommend this book to others .

It was a bit scary book because the crocodile wanted to eat the children. I didnt like it that much.

I would rate this book 4 stars because I didn't like when the crocodile says the children are going to get eaten up. I also didn't think it was good story. The one thing I did like about the story was that children don't get eaten up but the crocodile gets sizzled like a sausage. I like the words that Roald Dahl used to describe the characters.

I think the enormous crocodile is my favourite character because he never gives up and keeps on trying even when he gets hurt by the other animals. I would recommend this book to my friend because she loves animals, especially dogs.

I like Roald dalh but this book is good but not as good as other of his books. My favourite character is mugglewump the monkey because he is cheeky. I would recommend it to animal lovers and people who don't like crocodiles.
