Artemis Fowl and the Atlantis Complex is the seventh awesome book in the bestselling Artemis Fowl series by Eoin Colfer.

SOMETHING IS SERIOUSLY WRONG WITH ARTEMIS FOWL

When he gathers the fairy elite to show off his latest invention, it’s clear that the former criminal genius has become delusional and paranoid.

He doesn’t even trust his closest friends.

Artemis has the Atlantis Complex, a disease that is causing him to lose his mind. And things get worse when a deadly attack is launched against an underwater fairy city.

The fairies are desperate. So desperate, that they need the ruthless, calculating mind of history’s wickedest teenager.

Will the real Artemis Fowl please stand up?

‘Hugely satisfying – not to be missed’ – Irish Independent
‘Engagingly vivid, exciting and witty’ – The Telegraph
‘Fast, funny and very exciting’ – Daily Mail

*Artemis Fowl was winner of the WHSmith Children’s Book of the Year Award and Children’s Book of the Year at the Children’s Book Awards. Shortlisted for the Whitbread Children’s Book of the Year Award.*

I absolutely loooooove the Artemis Fowl books. When I first read this (this is my second time reading it) I was like 'it's kinda good, not the best in the series though' but on re reading it I started to appreciate all of the amazing wit, humour and story line of it and now it is 1 of my favourite in the series. A brief summary of this book would be that teenage criminal genius Artemis Fowl develops a mental condition called the Atlantis Complex where he has a split personality. MEANWHILE how ever long forgotten criminal genius ( WHY ARE THERE SO MANY CRIMINAL GENII IN THIS BOOK!!????) elf Turnball Root is hatching a plan to reunite himself with his aging human wife Leonor. Of all the times for Artemis to go AWOL in his head. My favourite characters are Foaly the centaur, Holly the elf, Juliet the lethal fighting master, Mulch Diggums the dwarf or Artemis Fowl himself. I would recommend this to anyone with good taste. This book is full to bursting with witty humour, humorous wit, geeky tech and of course fairies.

This book is exciting, it really helps me imagine properly the way it is because of the description and when I looked at the movie it was the exact same as I imagined, unbelievable right

I thought this book was good, I rate it 5/5. It was slightly annoying for me because these sorts of things like the Atlantis Complex makes me angry!! I know that sounds weird! Most people would probably really enjoy it! My favourite person was Butler because even though Artemis did not trust him, he still stood by him every step of the way. I would recommend. I rate this book a 9+.

Another book in the Artemis Fowl series. I wasn’t so keen on this story as there wasn’t enough action, probably because Artemis was frozen for half of the story and was only able to be revived when Captain Holly Short, a fairy, found a way to melt the ice! I am afraid to say that I would rate this book 3 stars - I couldn’t recommend it to those who like action stories and hopefully, the next Artemis Fowl story will return to the usual standard.

This is a very exciting and adventurous book, I really enjoyed reading it. This is the 7th book in the series, so I would recommend reading all the previous books first. It's about a teenage criminal mastermind Artemis Fowl, who has developed a mental condition his fairy allies call Atlantis Complex. It's a combination of several psychoses, including multiple-personality disorder. But now vicious plasma robots are attacking the fairies's subterranean city of Atlantis and there's no devious Artemis to save them. Will they be able to get the real Artemis back before the bots strike? Read this book and find out!

I didn't like Orion because he was really wired around Holly.

It was weird when Orion came along.

My favourite character was Foaly because he loves to say witty responses and is very cheeky! I'd recommend this book to people who have read the other 'Artemis Fowl' books.

It was really strange reading about a virus (the Atlantis Complex) during a virus pandemic.
