Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
J.K. Rowling
Harry Potter, along with his best friends, Ron and Hermione, is about to start his third year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Harry can’t wait to get back to school after the summer holidays (who wouldn’t if they lived with the horrible Dursleys?). But when Harry gets to Hogwarts, the atmosphere is tense. There’s an escaped mass murderer on the loose, and the sinister prison guards of Azkaban have been called in to guard the school …The plot thickens and the dangers facing Harry multiply in this third thrilling installment from J.K. Rowling.
Reviews
This book was scary, exciting, sad and happy. I loved it. I liked the twists and turns. I don’t think it should be read by people younger than 7 because it can be frightening. I loved all the new characters in this like Lupin and Sirius Black but I really disliked some too. No spoilers!

I love this book. I recommend this book for 9+ My favourite characters are Professor Dumbledore, Harry Potter, Lupin, Sirius, Pettigrew, Ron, the stag, Snape, Hagrid, Malfoy, Neville and Professor Trelawny (because she keeps predicting Harry's death). It is a scary book.

My favourite character was Sirius Black, he was a bad guy at first but it turned out he was a good guy and Harry potters godfather. I liked that he could turn into a big black dog.
