I liked how it was Gus’ birthday and Cosmo made a catapault and how they escaped the pirates. The pirates were trying to get the animals because the animal inspector had shut them down and Esme was looking after the animals. Esme stopped the pirates from getting the animals by launching them into the sea. I liked this book and the second one equally.

I liked it because there was a mermaid and I like mermaids and I saw her swimming in the ocean while Esme was in the boat and also I liked when the chickens found the only plant in the ocean.

Amazing Esme and the pirate circus. You should read this book because it helps you want to have a circus with pirates in it. In this book, the pirates attack Esme, her cousins and her uncle while they take the sick animals back to their home. Esme rescues everyone by doing flips towards the pirate ship and then tieng them up. They took the pirates to the sea emergency place where some police were. The police took the pirate ship and looked at it while Esme, her cousins and her auntie and uncle were enjoying their Christmas.
