I felt sorry for the soldiers that served our country. It was a really good book. I have read it twice.

It was touching and very sad.

It was very exciting, although some bits were rather scary. I would recommend it to people who can withstand frightening chapters. The disheartening thing was that right at the end, Billy, the main character, suffered a terrible loss. His best friend, Rob, gets shot.

I think others should read this book because it shows you what it is like to be in a war (although it's a fiction book). It also shows how scary the war actually is.

Great example of a auto biography. Tells you about the war and in a way that's not to gruesome
