I love all the horrible histories books because they're funny, gory and not afraid to tell you the truth about what really happened at the same time as telling you the stories some people tell and others think are true. I also like them because of the funny illustrations and names they give to each period in history as well as sometimes places and even people. I especially enjoyed reading this one because another thing I love is learning about the royal family. I have over 10 horrible histories books and around five books about the royal family but this book is like them all rolled in to one!
