This was a sad story as the mummy died. Amy the daughter rescued a horse called Spartan. Amy did not go to school for a long time because she was in hospital. When she came out of hospital her grandpa Jack and sister Lou looked after her.

I loved this book and I really liked Amy. I like this book because it expresses how the characters are feeling really well and good descriptions of what's happening
