this book is about the poles and Antarctic. It interest me as i learned a lot of facts and skills of how to survive in the forest when it is winter. The most interesting facts were how to make a sleigh out of wood and rope, what birds live in the Antarctic and which food to eat to survive in the winter. I would recommend this book for anyone who s interested in poles and Antarctic .

Captain Scott lost the race to the south pole to Roald Amundsen, Ernest Shackleton had a mammoth trek for survival that beats any modern day Hollywood movie plot, ships crushed by pack ice, polar bears in the north and penguins in the south.
