I really liked this book because you can learn about magician's tricks and it was funny and mysterious. My favourite character was Max's best friend Sophie because she was a bit of a daredevil and she was really good at riding her bike. I would recommend this book to someone with a really busy mind.

This is definitely a 5 star rating because it is such an amazing book . I like the fact that max is a magician and he competes in the greatest shoe on earth. It is an amazing and brilliant story. I would definitely recommend it to anyone else .

I like it because it has super powers that you normally have in magic shows. My favourite character was max of course because he has the best super powers. But it lost two stars because one of the villains had a knife and that was too scary. And at last i liked reading the book because reading is fun.
