The unmissable follow-up to the phenomenal bestselling and award-winning The Last Bear. Beautifully illustrated by Levi Pinfold and perfect for readers 8+
April Wood has returned home from her adventure on Bear Island. But, over a year later, she can’t stop thinking about Bear. When April hears that a polar bear has been shot and injured in Svalbard, she’s convinced it’s her friend and persuades her dad to travel with her to the northernmost reaches of the Arctic. So begins an unforgettable journey across frozen tundra and icy glaciers. But along the way, she discovers much more than she bargained for – a tiny polar bear cub, desperately in need of her help. In freezing temperatures, April must navigate the dangerous Arctic terrain and face her deepest fears if she’s to save him. Beautifully illustrated by Levi Pinfold, Finding Bear is a stunning story of survival and a heartwarming tale of love that shows us how hope is born from the smallest of beginnings. ‘A beautifully written and illustrated story of determination, courage and hope’ The Sun ‘Magically inspiring’ Daily MailReviews

A huge shout out to Hannah Gold. The language she used is outstanding, and she has another bestseller yet! An astonishingly beautiful piece of work, and has anyone’s attention! And Levi Pinfolds pictures are the most talented illustrations I’ve probably ever seen. This book has everything!!!

This book was so inspirational for me as April went back to see bear wondering if he was still okay after he got shot. After April got there she was determined to get there and never gave up. She helped bear with his little cub too. The perseverance with this girl is amazing showing that even the smallest things you do make such a big difference. Highly recommend this book to anyone above the age of 8.

Finding Bear is the second book after the last bear. I really love both of the books and if you like animals, then read them both! Finding bear is about a girl, April, (who in the last book saved a polar bear.) and how though she saved Bear, she still misses him. Then she gets news that a polar bear got shot! And it might even be bear! And off she goes on a big adventure back to the Artic, there she must find bear, and if that isn't hard enough she must also save a cub called Peanut. I don't want to spoil too much, so I won't add more. But read this book it is great! Come and join April, Bear and Peanut on their great adventure though the Artic. Helped by new friends and old. Read this book!

I loved this story . It is about hope and to remember to never lose hope . When April hears that a bear has been shot she instantly thinks it is Bear. Bear is the name of her friend who is a bear . She pleads her father to go back to Svalbard and eventually he says yes . they go with Aprils friend ,Tor and also a very experienced navigator called Hedda . when a storm comes then they have to turn back but April gets blown away by it. All of a sudden she hears a mighty roar and sees that its Bear. They reunite and then Bear crouches down and thats a sign he wants her to sit on his back .he leads her to a dark glacier . And there she finds some thing she least expected... Bear Has A Baby.
