Sunshine on every page! A fabulous story of family, friendships and finding your own way. Sunshine finds herself struggling at school to get along with Evie, after a great start they become each others irritating classmate, even ending up having a playground scuffle. At home, Grandad Bobby is the life and soul, but when his health deteriorates, Sunshine finds the light in her life deteriorating too. When her family come together to celebrate Grandad’s life, Sunshine remembers all the things he has taught her. She finds her voice and stands proud to show everyone just what she’s able to do (with lots of Grandad thrown in). An engaging story of family memories and how it builds our history, and us. Sunshine is pure joy on every page, with history thrown in, showing us how important it is to share our own stories, and those of generations before us. A complete feel good read, I can’t wait to join Sunshine on her next journey.
