I liked this book very much. My favourite character was Pip as she enjoyed digging around for treasure by the muddy creek which means she is adventurous. It interested me because dragons are mythical creatures. I would recommend it to someone else.

I like this book because you could understand how the characters felt. The description in every sentence was really good and easy to understand. I also like the way the author imagined a dragon.

I gave it 3/5 because when I read the book, I got really confused what was happening so then I had to re-read what I had just read. The ending could've been better. But it was still really good.

I liked this book because people who wouldn't expect to be friends become friends. I also like this book because one big thing happens and quite a few lives have been changed. I'd recommend this book to years 5-7.
