In this book, Arthur and Maudie Brightstorm go to the north where there are volcanos... It is a great myth that a super-sapient called Earth bear lives in the mountains. However, they think that Eudora Vane doesn't know anything but they are wrong. It's a beautiful story by Vashti Hardy.

Firesong, the third book in the Brightstorm series is one of the best books I have ever read! I absolutely love it! I cried at the end because it completes the Brightstorm trilogy and I want more Brightstorm books!!! I will be asking my mum to write to Vashti Hardy on Instagram and ask her to write more of these books! You must read this, you will not regret it! But definitely start with the 1st book. Firesong is the story of two twin siblings, Arthur and Maudie Brightstorm, who set of on an expedition to the volcanic north, a place their parents went to many years before, before they passed away. Arthur and Maudie are explorers, and together with Harriet Culpepper and the rest of the Aurora crew, they go on an adventure to explore the volcanic islands. They constantly hear a song playing in their heads, a cry for help from the Earth Bear, a bear who is as old as time and controls all of the world’s volcanic activity, with its roar it can cause earthquakes. Little do the twins know that Eudora Vane, their evil aunt is right behind them, getting ready to strike yet again with some smart, cunning, and cruel plan of hers. Can they stop Eudora Vane for good…? Read the book to find out and follow along with the story to discover what the Brightstorm twins are going to experience on their next, big adventure! This book as well as the other two Brightstorm books, are my 3 FAVOURITE BOOKS EVER!!! Part of the reason I may be soo in love with this series is the fact that I want to be an explorer when I’m older! For me that is the perfect idea of a job and I do not want to do absolutely anything but that. Travelling the world send getting paid to do it, what’s better then that! If anyone’s wondering, this book has 440 pages and took me a week to read but I was trying to not read it too fast as the idea it’s the last book made me sad! I guess it is a bit funny..! I would recommend it to anyone 10+ who loves adventures and expeditions! ~ Safe travels fellow explorers ~
