the book i read was fiction and my favourite character was ben because he was the hero of the story. i would recommend this book to someone else because it is magical, adventurous and it just makes you feel like you are in the story with them.

I liked the magical creatures - they thought they found the Prince called Raymond Trottle but they were wrong. They were very rude and the servant boy was actually the Prince, called Ben.

I thought that the book was interesting because it has witches and ogres in it.I thought that the people who tried to find the boy were a bigot stupid because all they did wa shook at one boy.I like Odge because she is very adventurous and feisty.i woukld reccomend it because it is very interesting and makes you picture life in another way.

I loved this book because it was extremely funny and exciting. My favourite character was Odge Gribble because she's really kind. I recommend this book to anyone who likes mythical creatures.

I liked this book becuase it invented a whole fantasy world that you can get to through Kings Cross Station every nine years. I was glad that in the end the truth was discovered and that everyone got what they deserved but I was a bit worried in the middle because everything was going wrong. My favourite character was Odge because basically she was the hero in the book. I would definitely reccommend this book to someone else.

Funny, mysterious and odd. When the barrier of platform 13 opens after another 9 years, 4 figures step out: A wizard, an ogre, a fey and a young hag. They come out to save the prince of the magical land but when they find him, he is a spoilt boy chubby, whiney and loud. How will the 4 magical creatures get the prince back before the barrier closes, how will they when he is a spoilt little pig...

An island called Mist can only through a gump. The gumps open for only 9 days every 9 years. Someone has stolen the baby prince when his nannies took him London as they wanted to get fish and chips. Now it's 9 years later and the gump is opening again. The race is on to find the prince and bring him home. My favourite character is Ben. I would recommend this to people who like to laugh.
