It was a bit long for me as a picture book. I would recommend it to a friend because the mum is telling them they were safe. The pictures are beautiful.

So fabulous! A really lovely tale of the wonders of early childhood and natural anxiety around discovering the world and growing up, as told through the early life of two polar bear cubs. Also, a great introduction to the importance of responsible environmental stewardship - all this and luminously beautiful illustration too. A must-read!
