An unforgettable tale of heartbreak... In Snowy Stockholm, Kara is spending winter alone with her mum and grandfather... Back in 1944, Rebecca and her brother, Samuel can barely wait for the winter to end and with it, the war... When their two worlds meet, Kara is determined to help Rebecca and her brother survive the winter. But then disaster strikes. Can Kara help Samuel onto an awaiting plane to safety when all else has failed? I love this book! An unforgettable tale of heartbreak. I finnished this in less than 12 hours or compacted down to 3! An amazing tale, and I actually cried when Rebecca died!! I loved this book and It makes me think of a pantoum (a sort of poem) and a book called In Darkling Wood (Emma Carroll. Be sure to check her out! Her books are cracking, and even if in Darkling Wood isn't for you, one of her other books surely is!) It was sooo confusing, but I loved it
