I really enjoyed this book because of the topic. I really like mysterious books and this book made me want to finish to the end. The front cover was very interesting and eye-catching, but I wasn’t completely convinced about this book as soon as I picked it up. However, as I read further, I started to really like it! My favourite character was Amy because even though she is often quiet, she was very helpful and because of this, Yanni ended up really liking her too! I would definitely recommend to someone else!

This book is about a boy called Yanni who has just moved to a new house and meets a stranger who suddenly comes into the house out of nowhere when he is staying with his cousin Amy and takes his sister Ariadne. They both have to journey to the land Land of Fae and at they soon learn that the person who took Ari was Lord Renwin who has stolen many people's name since if you say their name in the Land of Fae you get their ownership and they must obey themselves. At the end, I like how Yanni tricked Lord Renwin and found out his actual name freeing everyone and it was Hatred. I recommend this book to people who are still young enough to believe faries are dark creatures.

It was definitely not my favourite book.It interested me at first but when I read it it was not that good. The prospect of evil faeries that are like seven feet tall and stole his baby sister was not my cup of tea. I did push through the book though and ended up finishing it.

The chime seekers is a fiction book about Yanni and Amy who are cousins and they try to find the evil faerie who steals Yanni's sister Ari. My favourite character is Amy because she is smart, kind funny and likes to play board games. I would recommend this book to someone who likes folklore or faeries.
