The Prince was trying to look for a princess. The king and Queen were telling the engineers if they had any ideas and one of them said “maybe put a pea under a load of mattresses”. The King and Queen asked all their guards to send letters to all the princesses in all the world. They called loads of princesses but the Prince was telling them about his adventures but they were just interested in jewellery and dresses. If they weren’t interested they called other princesses but they didn’t feel any lump under the mattresses. Then, one late night there was something at the door. The Prince answered the door and it was a girl. The girl said “can I stay here tonight”. The Prince said “stay as long as you want”. The Prince told the girl all the adventures he had been having and she listened and listened. But, after all that talking the Prince got tired and the Prince woke up and the girl wasn’t there. He thought the girl was gone but she wasn’t she was going on the bed of mattresses. Next, the girl said “I had a nice sleep but it was uncomfortable because there was a big lump”. Then the Prince said “You are a Princess!”. He showed her the pea and she started to giggle. they got married and they lived happily ever after. I thought it was really nice and I would recommend it. I liked that it was just a pea but she felt a lump.

I like this story. It is a fairytale story about a lady who one night stayed in a castle and the queen made her sleep on lots of mattresses and placed a pea under the mattresses. Only a real princess would feel the pea and she did, so she could marry the prince. I think any girl would like this story if they wanted to be a princess.

I liked how the 1000 lady's Had to sleep in 20 mattresses and to feel the ting frozen pea under the mattresses to prove they were princesses for the prince to marry

A girl said she was a princess. Some people didn’t believe her so they put a pea under lots of mattresses and waited until the end of the night. She said she felt a little lump. My favourite person was the prince.
