I love this book. My favourite character is Fred as he is very entertaining.

I enjoyed this book very much, I think Wendy Orr is as talented as Alex Rover in the book. I liked how you could really feel the emotions of the characters as well.

This book is about a girl called Nim who lives on an island. Her father sails away to discover plankton in the sea but he gets caught up in a storm. Nim has to survive by herself but she has some animal friends.
