Whisk yourself away to lands of magic and wonder with Enid Blyton’s New Adventures of the Wishing-Chair.

In Book 5, the friends visit the Land of Fairytales, but when they get there Wishler starts acting very strangely. Can they work out which fairytale character he has become, and help him be himself again, in time to go home?

Short chapters and beautiful illustrations make the New Adventures of the Wishing Chair perfect bedtime reading for children aged five and upwards. A richly nostalgic offering for grandparents and parents to share with the next generation of Blyton fans.

Jack, Jessica and Wishler the pixie visit fairyvale, a world of real life fairytales on the Wishing Chair! Mysterious things happen as the children meet Daisy the cow, Puss in boots, Thumbelina & Fairy Godmother while being transformed into Jack and Cinderella!!! Wishler the pixie becomes evil and starts stealing things from the fairytales, upsetting everyone. Read on how the Storyteller helps out to return everything and everyone to where they belong.... Very interesting book!

personally, I think they book was very good. it included fantasy, adventure and humour which are all the thing I enjoy reading in a book. I would aim this book at 4 year old ( only if there mum and dad reads it) to about 11 year old. Also I think that it is a girls book. I really enjoy Enid blyton's book and would recommend it.

I really enjoyed this book because it had adventure, thrill and suspense. this are all of my favourite thing to have when I am reading a book. I would recommend this book to 8-12 year old. overall I really enjoyed this book and I think anybody else would too.

In my head I was laughing because the three friends turned into storyland characters. Jack turned into Jack and the beanstalk, Jessica turned into Cinderella and Wishler turned into Rumplestiltskin.
