All the Asterix books are amazing but this one is the best. I enjoyed this book because the plot was interesting and the best bit was when the boar seller was agog at the price that the Gauls were selling their own boars ( 14 boars for 5 serresti). I was also quite happy that the pirates got the serresti in the end! My favourite character is Obelix because he is funny ( He is mad about boars!) and noble and also a good friend for Asterix when he got banished from the Gaulish village. I would recommend this book to anyone who is 10+ and loves a funny comic!

I liked it quite a lot. It was funny, like the rest of the books, but also slightly more serious than the others. My favourite part was the chariot racing and the betting on the Blues. The other chief was slightly strange, and I did not really like him. Overall, it was a very good book.

Asterix and Obelix receive a mysterious cauldron full of sestertii and are asked to guard it but during the night the money disappears. How will they get it back? My favourite character is a little dog called Dogmatix because he is so cute and always by Asterix and Obelix's side.
