Unicorns Don't Love Rainbows (PB)
Emma Adams, Mike Byrne
A brilliantly funny and heartfelt story about empathy, kindness, celebrating what makes us different, and... unicorns! I do not like smiling, I do not like cake, I do not like ice cream (makes my tummy ache). I stomp over rainbows and will not say 'Whoop!"" (and don't talk to me about unicorn poop). If you think that all unicorns love rainbows then think again, because this unicorn most certainly doesn't! In fact, there are a lot of things he doesn't like, and he's going to tell you all about it... So get ready, because you're about to meet an emo unicorn who truly stands out from the crowd. And a special bunch of friends who accept him for who he is. From bestselling author of Unicorn and the Rainbow Poop Shiny foil on the cover makes this a special gift Bright bold illustrations - an explosion of colour! A hilarious twist on the normally super-sweet unicorn books - for kids who like to stand out from the crowd

I read this book in Welsh and had it as a bedtime story in English. The words were quite different but told the same sort of story. I found it hard to read in Welsh but enjoyed it in English. I liked that in this story it teaches that you can be friends without being the same.

I read this book to my little sister because she loves unicorns. My favourite part was when he realised that everyone can be themselves and you can be you too. You don’t all have to be the same to be friends. I would recommend this book to anyone.

I like this book as it shows not everyone can be the same and everyone is different and you dont all have to like and do the same things. I like different things than my friends at school but other things we like to do together. I liked the colours and the story and i want to read this and borrow it from my library again.

Why does it say 'Unicorns' when it's only one Unicorn?
