I have read this book

Overall the book was spooky at times but there were particular parts where the children resolved things - there were some excellent cliffhangers. My favourite character was called Grandpa John - I liked him because he was very mysterious and he gradually revealed things throughout the book and by the end he was much more open about his feelings.

The House on Hoarder Hill is about brother and sister called Hedy and Spencer, who have to go to their Grandpa John's home while their parents, who are archaeologists, are off to Spain for a dig. But their grandpa, who is a magician, has many secrets, which will lead the two kids on an intrepid adventure...

This book is awesome and you have got to read it. It is full of mystery and involves a talking bear rug and a talking stuffed stag head.

This is an excellent book about when two children go to there grampa's house they find out that their grandma is trapped in a magic box so they try to save her.I liked a character called Doug who is a funny talking bear rug that helps the children.I would recommend this book to everyone that likes adventure stories.
