This book was good but it was hard to get into at first because the murder didn't happen until halfway through the book. I was a bit unhappy when the book ended on a cliff hanger so now I don't really know how the investigation was settled. Other than this One Of Us Is Next was a good book.

Great book, never gets boring! I've read it at least 5 times, and it's still very intruiging and interesting! A definite page turner!!

This was a brilliant book and sequel to one of us is lying, with the return of some characters from one of us is lying. Including very bazaar plot twists, even small details contribute to the plot. All the characters were well written and engaging but my favourite was Knox.

Following the death of Simon Kellheller, his school gossip chat has been shut down. So everyone is excited when a school wide game of truth or dare starts, which sounds like it will be fun. However, people soon learn that taking a truth could reveal your deepest secret but a date could be fatal…

This book wasn't as good as the first book but it was still gripping. I wasn't that pleased with the mystery even though I thimnk the book has potential.

Maeve Rojas is an extremely relatable character, and I learnt a lot about leukaemia from reading this book. Maeve and Luis were the perfect couple, and so we’re Knox and Phoebe.

I really liked this book but I found the first one, One of Us is Lying was better.

This was a good mystery, I liked the style of writing. I intend to read more books by this author.

I thought this book was really interesting in the way it laid the book out like ‘One of us is Lying’ as it was viewing the story/plot from all the main characters’ point of view. It was extremely engaging from the first sentence and I was on the edge of my seat whilst reading it as the book left so many cliffhangers between the chapters! I liked all of the characters but if I had to pick one then it would probably be Maeve because she had so many things happening at once… and she was also in ‘One of us is Lying’ so she was a familiar character so I knew lots about her before I started the book. I would recommend this book to people who like a bit of romance, mystery and action all at the same time and to the age of 12+.

Following on from Simon’s mystery last year, Bayview High has a different “Simon”. A game of school wide game of truth or dare sounds fun..? Truth could reveal your darkest secrets or Dare could be dangerous, even fatal. The teenagers in town must work together once again before it’s too late… Ages 14+ due to mature language

This is a good follow up to One Of Us Is Lying and is set in the same school, centred around the sister of it's prequel's protagonist and her friends, solving the mystery of a possible copycat. Twist ending and difficult yo put down. Recommended.

A sequel to one of us is lying the best so far absolutely an amazing book.

I would probably say the same for all of the books in this collection. I loved this book and the new friend. There was a lot of adventure and mystery and I loved the ending too. If I could I would rate the whole collection 1000 out of 10

I loved it so much! After reading One of us is Lying, I knew I HAD to read the sequel! It was absolutely amazing, so many plot twists and amazing characters! I liked the way it tied up with the last book, and the return of the characters I loved in the first book. I enjoyed this book, and I’m excited to read the other McMagnus books! 5 stars and one of my favourite books EVER! Must read more of these fabulous books!

This book kept you waiting for everything to come to together and finally fit, keeping you in the dark until the very bitter and shocking end. I have to say, I did not see that one coming. The constantly switching narratives also gave a really good understanding of what all the characters were going through and we could look at the situation from every angle. the book is also really entertaining in terms of being able to see what happened to the other characters in the previous book, and showing a new perspective on the lives of the Bayview Four. It really is a very good read and i recommend it to people who like mystry and murder books.
