I loved this book! I am an all round Alex Rider lover. Anthony Horowitz is such a good writer. I recommend this book to people who like big adventures and mysteries and don’t mind a bit of violence. I recommend that readers of 10+ would enjoy it.

I really enjoyed this book but the end seemed to indicate another book but there was no actual official mention of it.

I enjoyed this book although I did find it went on a bit in some scenes. I liked the character Alex because although he was a lowly teenager. I think it is for a 10 and up age.

Alex Rider, the 15-year-old spy is sent to play Julius Grief, a character in the earlier books who was meant to replace him. He makes friends with Freddy Gray who is part of a terrorist organisation named Nightshade. They break out of prison and Alex joins Nightshade. But what is their plan to destroy London? And Alex only has a few days to find out. Read this amazing adventure now.

I have been a big fan of the Alex Rider series and have read all 12 of the main books but have also read two other special books that are not part of the main series. Overall, this is possibly the best books I have ever read and is something Anthony Horowitz should be proud of. The main thing that grabbed me was the real courage of this 15 year old schoolboy. He is always brave and will stop at nothing to save his country- or sometimes the whole world. As I said before, this is one of the best books I have ever read and thoroughly enjoyed it. This is a 5 star book any day of the week for me.
