This was the last book in the series & although I enjoyed it, I only gave it 4* because it wasn't as exciting or much action as the others. It was a good ending but sad as it was the end of this series of books.

I liked when the kids had to try and find the bad gods. The book was good. I would recommend it to an older reader because it’s a long big book.

I enjoyed reading this book because it was adventurous, had no pictures so I could picture it my self and was fun to read. My favourite character was Apollo because he had resilience and never gave up. I would recommend this book but I also in some parts of the book struggled to get a picture in my head.

I like Will Solace best. It is about the Greek god Apollo getting sent to New York in modern times as a punishment. Where he has to defeat Python and Nero. I would recommend it to my friends.

A great book from a great author yet again! I can't believe I've already finished this series, the books are so engaging I simply can't get enough! Do you know that feeling when you just want to read more and more and more and more and- and then the book finishes! *TRAGEDY* :( Anyway, I loved reading about Apollo and Meg's misadventures. Thanks, Rick Riordan!

It was action-packed the whole way through and my favourite character is Nico because he is the guy you would want on your team in a battle

A fantastic blend of Greek, Roman and modern. My favourite part is the glossary ; it tells me all the information I need to know about Greek and Roman mythology. It is about the sun god Apollo, who has been cast down by his father, Zeus and now known as Leicester who is a mortal teenage boy and is forced to do deadly, vicious trials. He embarks on this journey with his son, will and the son of Hades -known as Nico Di Angelo- set off to the final quest. To stop Nero(a boy-human but has the head of a wolf) setting New York on fire and destroying camp Jupiter -the place where Roman demigods go and train. I will highly recommend this book for all the Greek and Roman methodology fans.

This book was so addicting, I could not stop reading it over and over again, I am a massive fan of Rick Riordan and his series, and I was so upset, that this was the final book of his Greek mythology books. This book would enthuse those who want to learn about mythology but in a real life state of mind, and in real time and life. Meg, a character in this book, was my mentor and guru in real life to help me get through my first year in secondary school, even though she was a character in a book, her ways to guide Apollo back to becoming a god, she guided me to the light in life!

Funny! And Meg is alright I guess.

This book was AMAZING! There are so many plot twist that will keep you turning the pages! Apollo has learned over the series what it is like to be human and he has learned not to take things for granted. This series is gripping, heartfelt and extremely addictive. This series is a must read for anyone who enjoys a bit of humour and excitement!

Meg, Apollo and their friend Lu make a plan to deliberately get captured by Nero (AKA the Beast) to disable the vaults that were going to set the whole of New York alight
