Under Crook's Wood

This book is the next in the series after kestrel island and it is one of the best books I have read. It is all about the two characters Sophie and Sienna who have done incredible things and won’t stop there. Sophie has been dragged into all kind of adventures and has become a hero. Her friend Sienna (who is from another planet) has taught her to do heart stopping things. Such as mind reading. It comes in help all the time when they need each other. They can send messages by thinking hard about them and an image of what they want to send. There is a wood that they need to escape but Sophie gets trapped. She gets caught by Sienna’s enemy, Osorio. He is the one with orb that they need but he will do anything (even if it is murder) to keep hold of the stone. He is a maniac when it comes to power and he won’t stop until he gets rid of both the girls.

It was a great, spine tingling read, though the first chapter is rather confusing as there is no introduction. But overall, great, edge-of-your-seat read that you just can't stop!
